If your flag is beginning to tear at the fly end, timely repair can dramatically increase its usable life.
🧵 How Flag Repair Works
When a flag begins to rip, the damage almost always starts at the fly end. Our repair process involves:

Carefully trimming the flag back to where the tear ends

Re-hemming the edge using durable stitching

Reinforcing stress points where needed
This process shortens the flag slightly, but significantly extends its lifespan.
👉 The sooner a flag is repaired, the better the result. Flags sent in early last longer and require less alteration.
🇺🇸 U.S. Flag Repair & Flag Code Guidance
American Flags may be repaired until they become shorter than “square.”
Accepted U.S. Flag Code practice allows repair as long as the fly length remains at least twice the width of the blue canton (star field).
We follow these guidelines to ensure all repairs are respectful and appropriate.
