Copper-Clad Flagpole Grounding Kit | Made for Metal Flagpoles
Add a grounding component to a metal flagpole installation with this copper-clad grounding kit. The kit includes a copper-clad ground rod, copper grounding conductor and ground-rod clamp for use as part of an appropriately installed flagpole grounding system.
Grounding can provide a conductive path between a metal flagpole installation and the earth. This product is not represented as a complete lightning-protection system and cannot prevent lightning strikes or guarantee protection against lightning-related injury or property damage.

Installation
For new installations, the grounding conductor is typically connected to the flagpole's metal ground sleeve as part of the installation process.
For an existing flagpole installation with an accessible metal ground sleeve, a suitable connection may be made to the exposed portion of the sleeve. Do not attach the copper conductor directly to the aluminum flagpole shaft unless specifically approved for the installation.
The supplied clamp is used to secure the conductor to the copper-clad ground rod.
